Make It Stop!!!!

I jacked my left wrist this weekend and ended up having the oddest dream last night (I blame the Tylenol PM), involving a weird sort of cross between DW, PotC, Titanic and Treasure Island. And now I have bunnies, darn it!
Anyone know if there's been any good fic done out there involving Ten, Rose and pirates? I do not want to have to write this myself - Seuls is currently just barely over 10,000 words and I need another bunny like I need a hole in the head.
Here's the soundtrack (Note: NOT MINE!) to said dream - enjoy!
And... the S4 extras are out on YouTube. Here's one that I'm glad didn't make the final cut.

Feeeeeeeeed the plotbunny. You know you want to. Hrm. How about I be an enabler? Crossover ficathon? :)

Date: 2008-11-17 07:13 pm (UTC)Now if only I could figure out how to cross with this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pirate_Queen - unless it turns out to be my answer to how Ten pissed off Queen Elizabeth!
I saw this show the last time I was in NYC (hooray for DW actors!) and I didn't realize it had fared so badly. Sets and costumes were fantastic. Story was meh, though, which probably explains the early closure.

Shame we didn't get a Torchwood musical episode. *sigh*

Date: 2008-11-17 11:35 pm (UTC)Last year the school band learned to play it so most afternoons when I was marking papers after school, I heard it being played as they were practicing. Made me want to run around my classroom, jump up on desks and pretend to sword fight. Oh My! I never got tired of it.
Just to add something else into the mix. You must download and watch this. A little celebration of Jack back in S3 DW to 'that' music.

You are going to have that song stuck in your head forever now.
Let the plot bunnies bounce!

Date: 2008-11-17 11:51 pm (UTC)And I'm still not sure how I ended up dreaming about pirates - I've only seen bits and pieces from the three PotC movies. I know, I know....
What a cool video! *bounces* Damn, you're another enabler!

Date: 2008-11-18 12:25 am (UTC)Seriously, though - I'm hoping what I'm looking for has already been written so that I don't have to. *begs flist*

Date: 2008-11-18 07:51 am (UTC)And I'm so sorry about your wrist. I do hope you're able to get it taken care of sooner rather than later. I had DeQuervain's tenosynovitis and can remember how bad the pain was there towards the end before I finally had the surgery. (And how much I wanted to kick the orthopods who used Finklestein's test over and over and over and -- yeah, OW! Every time! Like they thought it would change? LOL).

Date: 2008-11-18 03:29 pm (UTC)And thanks. Wrists are an old issue (had right volar ganglion removal x 2 already - not fun), I'm hoping this is just another sprain. Hurts like the dickens, though. And you had DeQueravain's? Yeouch! And yeah, some docs (particularly surgeons and orthopods) like to repeat a positive test because it's so darned rare. When my eldest was first born, she had bilateral hip dysplasia and various and sundry people kept testing her to see/feel an actual positive hip 'click' for teaching purposes. I finally told them to cut it out after the tenth time, 'cause it hurts, darn it.
