My in-laws live 2 hours from my parents' house. It's an 8-hour drive for us to either house, interestingly. It was ok when we lived there, but 2 hours of driving on Christmas Day sort of stinks.

Philly, FL and Portland might be hard to do in a day, though. *grins*
