Update

The missing scene from THANTH is DONE!!!! It's off to the ever helpful and shiny betas for sprucing up and for help in deciding the warnings to slap on as well as to decide how it should be posted/distributed, 'cause it is very, very wrong. Not as bad as it could have been, but still... it's just wrong.

I'm feeling terribly dirty right now. Maybe another shower would help.

Heh. More like 'more fic from [livejournal.com profile] mtemplar coming soon'! *grins* This is just where I dump stuff. Actually, most of my DW-related posts have been ending up here as well, as this is the journal that most of my DW pals read... hrm.

*throws confetti* Free broadband for all! Where are you visiting on your travels?

I'm visiting my home city, Cairns. Doing the family thing. Mum and mother-in-law spoiling my daughter rotten.(only grandchild) Nice to be up here during winter. The climate here is tropical and Sydney is cold cold cold.

I can't believe in 2002 when my husband wanted to get broadband I thought I wouldn't use it much and wasn't worth the money. Now if you want to torture me just put me in a room for a month with nothing but a computer and a dial up connection. I hate waiting for stuff to load.

Oops! That anon post was me. I keep forgetting to sign in when I'm not using my own computer.

Ah. Mum and MIL in the same city? Mine at least have 2 hours of drive-time separation from each other. Keeps them from competing and all that. Oddly enough, it takes about the same amount of time (7.5 hours) to drive from my house to each of their respective houses. o_0; Yes, the world is a very strange place.

If I am able to find a comp with internet when visiting the motherland, it's usually dial-up, and I agree - it's a killer waiting for stuff to load. Hope you're having a nice holiday!
