Lordy God. Panic. I've been having a lot of thoughts - nothing coherent, not yet - for ages, but the rush of scripts has been so great that I haven't had time to tell you. Cybermen, Victoriana, a swordfight on the roof with Cybershades (Cyberman heads in flowing black robes, like wraiths, sort of creepy half-Cybermen), workhouse kids as slaves... That's all the normal plot stuff. The real heart of it is the beginning: the Doctor arrives, hears a damsel in distress, the Doctor steps forward to save her... when this other man [to be played by David Morrissey] swings in, dashing, brilliant, amazing, clever, witty, saves the day. The Doctor says, “Who are you?” The man says, “I'm the Doctor!” Good scene. The Doctor becomes his companion. I like that. Sweet. There will be a beautiful woman too, of course, but really it's the Doctor paired with a new Doctor.


And apparently, Steven Moffat had already started writing his first episode last January! o_0

The Doctor as someone else's companion? The companion to another Doctor? I'm not sure how I feel about this but all my protective instincts are telling me to latch onto the Doctor and say "no."

Then again, I wasn't sure how I felt about Donna either. And that turned out to be amazing, so I don't know.

It could be much fun. Sadly RTD has worn me down to such an extent that really all I want to do is throw myself in front of the Doctor to protect him from RTD. *g* I shall withhold judgement until such time as I see how they play this though.

Back in New York, sitting in front of my computer waiting for a certain part 2 of a certain story to be posted... :)

It'll be a bit yet - have to get kidling off to school and work under control. I did finally find the perfect song for this morning for Part 2 - 'Don't Leave Me This Way' by the Communards. *grins*
