I'm starting to wonder if LJ isn't also having another issue with notifications and links to journals with underscores in the name like they had a while back - there are a few journals and comms for which I don't receive proper notifications, and all of them have an underscore somewhere in the name. Example: I got notifications for platypus's comments, but not yours.
I'd ask folks if they have problems with mine, but I wouldn't presume that anyone actually tracks my journal.

I might see about doing entries a little differently.
For most of my fics I have my private backup entry/working copy, which I then put into a new, accessible entry when it's ready to be posted.
Couple that with his artron loss, and well....
Do you mean couple that with his 'artron loss' as a euphemism, or is the loss of artron energy literally having a deleterious effect on him?
He just wanted his telepathic!cuddle...can't blame the poor guy. *grins*
At least she knows he's a cuddler! Although I'd still be sure to keep snacks at the ready.
Y'know what would be fun - writing this whole thing over from the Doctor's POV. I'm not that crazy though! *grins*
I've seen that done to create a pair of matching standalones, but I can't imagine that wouldn't be onerous for longer fics. If there's some scene or scene you specifically wanted to write again through his POV, you could always post it as a ficlet or Chapter Xa.
Yes, but he might have had Melina to contend with.
It didn't seem like the Sisters gave much of a rat's arse about how he was doing after the fact, other than Melina who was just using the situation as an excuse to molest him (and yes, that's a deliberate choice of words). Is it just that Melina would've used his continued agitated state to further her own agenda, or would the Sisters have genuinely needed to intervene to keep him from, say, hurting himself?
You'll find out soon! *grins*
I can't say I'm terribly surprised. The question is which of them's getting drugged, with what, and why, I guess.
It wouldn't shock me if Melina persuaded the other Sisters that they needed to hang onto the Doctor for a little while longer... although she may get the shock of her very long life if she subsequently finds that while Ohica agrees with the need for him to stay, she believes pairing him off with Rose is best, as it was so clearly effective the first time.
