Also, rumor has it that director John Landis announced at the Spooky Empire con in Orlando this weekend that DT has been cast alongside Simon Pegg in his upcoming remake of Burke and Hare. There's no info on this from any of the major outlets yet, or confirmation of DT's involvement - so I suppose it's best treated as rumor at this point, albeit a very plausible one.

Okay, the Judoon in the car saying 'Have nice day' is pretty damn funny, especially if you've read Judgment of the Judoon.

I wouldn't rate the trailer as especially spoilery beyond what seeing the book cover did (which was advertise Nigel Havers!); SJA tends to have recurring villains even more so than Who proper, so I'm not surprised to see who we've seen.

I've seen the Landis-related rumors, with no substantiation other than a bunch of sites reporting what the original rumor stated.

Is anyone else salivating at the prospect of the Doctor going up against the Trickster, though? *makes grabby hands*

Re Landis: There's still no confirmation from any of the major outlets - and that's odd for a Monday morning... hrm.

Seeing him go up directly against him would be nice, yes, forcing The Trickster to face the man himself instead of trying to get to him through proxies.

I was wondering when the Trickster would attract the Doctor's attention...

Not really an alien you'd get if the Time Lords were around...or I wonder how they'll retcon it? Maybe the Trickster didn't try anything on too big a scale, and fell under their radar?

My fanon says that the beetles were used for drinking games.

Dunno - Gareth Roberts is the writer, so he's well-versed in the TLs, so who knows.
