Are you a closet fan of whumpage? *quirks eyebrow*

I don't mind it, so long as there's some fluffy stuff after. :) (That is, I don't mind hurt/comfort, so long as there's a plot point. Some of the "hey let's torture the Doctor for no good reason!" stuff bothers me.)

I'm personally bothered by fic that has a fully-stocked medbay onboard the TARDIS. That's just too darned convenient.

Isn't that be a logical thing for the TARDIS to have? I mean, it has a swimming pool and a giant wardrobe, and it's nearly infinite, and people do get hurt. (Though it does feel a bit like cheating when they have a magic zapper that eliminates any injury.)

Yeah, but fully stocked with everything clearly labeled? C'mon. Medbay is one thing - fully stocked is another.

There was a sickbay, as I recall, but it didn't look too high tech or well-stocked... That's OK...music of the spheres annoyed me because that's not the way composers work. :) (okay, most that I know personally.)

To continue the Medbay thread, a ship has a galley not a kitchen.

I'm just saying...

I could've sworn they called it a kitchen, though, in one of the audios? Was one of Evelyn's last ones.

The TARDIS is described as having a kitchen multiple times, for example in the novel Escape Velocity.

There's never even been a pretense of using ship-standard terminology to describe any of the rooms of a TARDIS.

Not that we've been fortunate enough to see many rooms in the new series.... *taps foot*

Blame Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures for that problem - after those sets got built they didn't have anywhere to build extra rooms in.

Rumor has it one of the stories in Series 5 is set entirely within the TARDIS... maybe we'll finally get some more rooms? *hopes*
