I has it! It is absolutely gorgeous. I put in an order for the photo cover yesterday, and as of today, Alien is saying stock is limited. Grab now - the other one sold out fairly quickly as well.

Gaaah. The story on the first series wasn't bad, but the artwork was so random. :/ Mine didn't show up today. Wanna bet my post office folds it in half to put in my mailbox again?

I called them and asked 'em to mark it "Do Not Bend," since the post office insisted it wasn't their fault because it wasn't marked. They did the other issues and set me a replacement. :)

Can't say I'm fond of the cover art style, but I dunno 'bout the photo either. But it's the interior art I'm there for... :)

I've also been buying waaaaaay too much DW stuff lately. WhoNA got in the series four figures last night, and by the time I looked there were no more Doctor-with-adiposes :(.

Me too. *sighs* I'm on the hunt for a Series One Companion Mag - somehow I missed that one and I'm not having any luck finding it.

And sheesh - that's pretty fast to sell out of adipose! Have you looked anywhere else yet?

I think WhoNA's going to get more of Ten'n'Adipose, but I am not known for patience :).

The series companions are hard to come by used. I lucked out and got the S1 from WhoNA in 2006. There's one on eBay, but it's going for $36 (and I'm sure the S4 companion's release this week is causing prices to go higher, since people are reminded of the companions' existence). Doesn't help that "doctor who" and "companion" don't exactly lend themselves to unique google searching!
