and I *am* working on 'Not Here' - really! But in the meantime, here's some more spin on the possibility of a DW movie, all based on comments made by Steven Moffat at the Edinburgh Television Festival last Saturday.

He (Moffat) added he was preparing for the “dreadful day” when Tennant decides to leave but refused to say whether it will be in the 2010 series.

While there has recently been speculation over how long current Doctor David Tennant, right, intends to stay in the role on television, it’s widely expected he would play the part in a future film.
“It’s well known that David would love to play the Doctor on the big screen,” says our series mole. “David has obviously played such a huge part in Doctor Who’s success recently and he certainly wouldn’t want to pass up on the chance of appearing as him in the cinema.”

Moffat has Hollywood connections with Steven Spielberg and said he would love to sign the director up to the project.
So... eeks. Personally, I doubt it'll happen, but.... *shrugs*

Date: 2008-08-29 02:15 pm (UTC)Heh. Part 1 (yes, that's part ONE of probably two) is out for beta. It might take a while to make it look halfway decent. Part 2 is in the works; Ice Planet fic is completely outlined and I have to make a difficult choice on an icon. *taps fingers thoughtfully* Maybe we'll have to have a vote.
