I'll be leaving for the airport in a few hours for parts unknown (AKA Mendoza, Argentina via Santiago, Chile), but in the meantime, here's a few things to keep you occupied while I'm winging it (and no, no costume pics yet from LLL *is sad*)

You can has scripts! RTD has made available several pdfs of scripts from DW Series 4, including 'Midnight' and 'Journey's End'. Go grab now!

EDIT: And it looks like there's yet another name for a character in 'Journey's End'. *headdesk*

Some early previews of LLL from the media are here:

and... another person's review of LLL, with pic of DT signing at the stage door. I know, no tights, but better than nothing, right?

Oh yeah, I was going to mention "The Doctor #2" from the script snippet in DWM. That's obviously unusable for fandom (does it mean Handy or Patrick Troughton?), so I fear we have to fall back on making up our own names. As has largely been done already :).

Oooh. Cool link to the scripts! It's interesting to see just how much is scripted and how much isn't.

Oh, yeah, saw the "#2" script excerpt already.

I wonder if they're going to count downloads as a gauge for interest in more script books...

Hrm.

I'm going to crosspost the link just in case! Thanks!

I love reading RTD's scripts. I'm fascinated by the writing process, so even the smallest change is interesting to me, and his little asides about the emotions in a scene can be very revealing. I loved the first script book, and really wish they'd do more. Pity sales were apparently not great. (And I'm sure I'm going to love RTD's book as well, when I finally get my hands on a copy. Just reading a few transcriptions from the section about the evolution of the Bad Wolf Bay scene has improved my opinion of it many times over and given me a great deal more sympathy for the man who had to pull it off.)

How dorky am I? I'm thinking of printing one of the scripts to read on the plane tomorrow. Just can't decide which...
