Leaving Santiago tonight on the red-eye flight back to the states. I think we'll be home in the late afternoon tomorrow. AND I have a great idea for an omake involving a dark bar and a tango. *waves at the flist*
So far so good. Made it through security at the airport, waiting in the lounge to board at 9ish local time, which is US eastern time plus one hour. Then we do customs at 6 in the morning in Atlanta and have a 4-hour layover. I will be very glad to not have to rely on my horrid Spanish to get through customs, though. *grins*
maybe it was just the agent, but the one I had in Atlanta was rude as hell. The guy in Barcelona? Awesome. Didn't hurt that we had the same birthday. ;)
It was a fantastic trip. And yes, now I have this stupid omake idea that's in my head now that's going to have to be spewed out on paper at some point. What's really sad is that the inspirational song isn't even a tango! *shrugs*
I might post photos eventually, as long as I'm not in them! *grins*
