More book stuffs coming out - I'm not sure when this one will be released, but it promises "for the first time, a complete story guide to the adventures of all ten Doctors."

Photobucket

Will be leaving for the return trip home shortly - here's hoping we have an uneventful journey this time.

Oooh. That could be cool. Not sure how they're going to handle Eight, since he's got like 2-3 storylines.

Good luck!

I'm not sure how much different it will be from the web version, but we'll see. And maybe that's my problem with Eight's stories - depending on what canon you're using, some of them just don't mesh with the others... hrm.

Thanks! The trip back went much better.

Oh - not at all. The trip out was complicated by bucket and carsick baby, with the trip back being remarkably uneventful. We're at 65 degrees with blazing sun right now.

Heh, nice. I hear Seattle is thawing nicely, and they're calling for snow in Beverly tonight, Wednesday, and Friday. The Frood's parents went out of town and told us to raid their fridge, so we're set.

Thanks! Trip back went well - hope you're feeling better. I've managed to catch The Cold over Christmas. *grumbles* Ah well.

That reminds me (in one of those strange tangential turns that ones mind takes when feverish and ill) - I found some lovely mood music for the subject matter I had in mind for that 'scene' we discussed - I'll make an attempt to post it up tomorrow.

I'm reading back over this reply and it's making absolutely no sense to me. That can't be good. *hits 'Post Comment' and hopes for the best*

Yay! I'm glad you guys made it home alright! Ugh. I'm sorry you couldn't avoid it. I'm feeling better but I'm still coughing up some goo. I took some Mucinex in hope it goes away. I don't want to cough anymore! XD; *crosses fingers* *knocks on wood* It also looks like I may have avoided the flu that seems to be hitting my family over the holidays!

XD;;; Oddly? I tend to deviate like that when I have the flu. And I still have your picture in my brain. :3 :3 :3 AND i got a new computer for christmas... SOoooooooooooooooo.... *GLEES* I should be able to work on it (and I'm saving for a new screen but that has little to do with art at the moment... unless my screen sucks with the new computer... hm... I digress!)

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *GLEE* More mood music??? :D Someone still being stroppy for you? Or did she move past that? *GLEE*

PS: AND MOST IMPORTANTLY

GET TO FEELING BETTER! Liquids, vitamin C, chicken soup, warm bed, menthol Halls, Vick's Vapo Rub, a Humidifier, and LOTS OF SLEEP. That's how I got past it... in... ugh 5 days.

Ha! I am, by definition, a terrible patient! *grins*

I'm going to make an attempt to get some more sleep, but having bedsteps makes this difficult. We have a very tall four-poster, hence the need for the steps. Children like these steps. They can get right up next to you and stare in your face. It's a lousy way to wake up.

Sleepy-time for me... hope this post makes sense.

XD; You are not alone! I'm pretty crap myself ;)

Ahhhhhhhh *hughug* Here's hoping they let you get some rest and don't catch it themselves! That sounds SO MUCH like what our nieces do when we visit... without the "steps." Rest as best you can, I know that can be/is difficult with children who are dependent on you.

*hughug* I hope you got some good rest in! And didn't wake up with babies watching you!

*grins* Maybe you should move to the medical field!

Nah, no sleeping in here. Had the neighbor girl banging on the door at 8am this morning to play with the older girls - I have popular children, unfortunately. Plus, I lost my helper when she went to the neighbor's to play. *grumbles* I don't usually nap unless I'm really deathly ill, which I'm not, so maybe I'll try to get to bed early tonight.

*is glad you're feeling better*

XD; Believe me, it's crossed my mind! (more on the pharmaceutical end).

*hughug* XD; I have a HORRIBLE habit of sleeping in... lucky for my parents? My friends knew about it! :D I take it they're out of school for the holidays. *hughug* GOOD LUCK on getting to bed early! And... ditto on the napping.

*is glad too* I'm hoping YOU get to feeling better as well!

It seems to be particularly virulent! Spreads over the internet and all that. *grins* Here's hoping you managed to avoid the flu.

And yay for new computer! *dances for you*

And now I'm not sure if I'm still lucid, but which person are we talking about when we say 'stroppy'? Rose? Or are we talking about Melina?

XD; I should have avoided LJ to keep from spreading the contaigen to the masses!

Thanks for the dancing! I'm quite excited! I just have to save for a new screen and I will soon be an even MORE formidable artistic force... heres hoping that leads to a new job ;)

XD; I meant Rose ;)

Yes, obviously! *grins*

That is very exciting! A MORE formidable artistic force? This sounds dangerous! *laughs*

Ah - Rose. Yeah, she's still being stroppy. I can't get her to dance with Ten II for the life of me. Not that I've had much time to think about it, though. The 'mood music' I mentioned is for the affectionately titled 'THANTH II' fic that I've been tossing around. Melina would also be quite stroppy in this one.

It is! XD; I wish! I'm quite creative but... I'm very critical? More of myself than anyone else. :3 That and NZone has made me a lazy artist.

Naughty Rose! I'm sure he's very good with his um... hands? :D Then again, with the break maybe something will come to you!

OH!!!! I anxiously await hearing this song!!! And reading a stroppy Melina? :D

Heh. I managed to infect the Frood's family with The Cold over Christmas. So far 2 of the 3 brothers, and his dad have had it. Been interesting to see how disease vectors work, and you sure learn what your in-laws think of you, when you give them the Plague.

From: [identity profile] mtemplar-fic.livejournal.com
Ha! My sister called yesterday and accused me of infecting her - I had to remind her that I didn't get sick until AFTER Christmas, when I was exposed to the Father, and she probably got it from the same place, as she is in closer proximity than I am. Otherwise, if I could infect her over the phone? That'd be another paper right there.

Dude. Publish or perish! :)

I'm thinking that the Frood got it from me, and he gave it to his dad. Brother of Frood, the younger, got it from his job (museum guard), since he's got a sore throat, which none of us had.

Steve, his dad, and I work with computers, so we're always touching nasty, germy things. I'm thinking it wasn't as nasty for us because we've got some resistance built up.

Yep. I'm very interested to see what will be included in the 'complete story guide'.

In particular, one wonders if they'll be sticking strictly with on-screen canon, or branch off into the alternative media like the books and audios. Otherwise poor Eight's section will be about half a page!

Imagining the shippy version of the Rose Tyler entry now... everything'll be "and then they went back to the TARDIS and snuggled," "and then they sat close to each other at the TARDIS' kitchen table and had hot cocoa (wherein the Doctor did not totally steal all of Rose's marshmallows)," "and then he made her promise to keep the stockings and shoes on..."

XD

*grins* Surely the author would protect Ten's modesty and keep his exploits under wraps?

If MdP can try to jam her tongue down his throat onscreen, I don't see why a proper snog with The Love of His Lives™ couldn't get a little ink, at the very least.
