Latest news at 5 Jan: David Tennant has made good progress following his recent back operation and will perform the title role in Hamlet this evening. Edward Bennett returns to his original role as Laertes, along with Tom Davey, Ricky Champ and Robert Curtis who will play Guildenstern, Lucianus, and Francisco.

We will be assessing David's return to each Hamlet performance this week on a day by day basis. Please check our website www.rsc.org.uk from 12 noon each day for an update for that evening's performance. Alternatively, please call the RSC Box Office on 0844 800 1114 or the Novello Theatre Box Office on 0844 482 5135. The production ends its run at the Novello Theatre on 10 January.

I got tickets for the 7th when I saw he was going to come back, as we'd missed him on the 27th. Full review is on the Doctor Who forum assuming you go there? But suffice to say it was BRILLIANT, worth every penny. And I went to the stage door afterwards and got some pics and my programme signed!

How wonderful - I'm very envious! I've seen peoples' posts on the forum, but I wasn't sure if he was signing after the shows or not (I wouldn't blame him if he didn't, honestly). I did see that he was mobbed after the show last night, poor guy.

I'll have to look at your review later - I'm doing the corporate gig this week, and OG happens to be one of the terribly harmful sites that is blocked. Along with my email. *grumbles*

I gather from some stern posts on the DW forum that 'something' happened, but I have no idea what. The DT fan is sorry that some of us messed up, and the gossip lover wants the details!!! Sorry to hear your email's on the blink!

And my email's fine, I just can't access it from this computer as it's on the corporate server, and my internet email just happens to be one of the sites that's blocked (ie all of Yahoo). *grumbles some more*

I'd be most grateful! Everyone on Wednesday was very nice and well behaved. I was tempted to go back tonight but perhaps it's just as well in case I was disappointed after having such a great experience the first time! I guess you're at work or something then? It's nearly bedtime here!

Yep - I'm doing some off-site coverage for a colleague. And lesse - if you're on GMT, I'm seven hours behind you (ie it's 2:41 in the afternoon where I am).
