I'm sure many of you have heard about this before, but Tony (DW: The Forgotten) Lee's latest comic outing, DW: The Time Machination, is now available for pre-ordering at your local comic store, as well as on a variety of online sites, EXCEPT IDW. *grumbles* It will be released on May 27th. No word on the cover/variant cover yet, but here's a pic and the summary blurb.

London, 1889 and a time-stranded Doctor needs the help of an old friend to fix the TARDIS...but is beset by pursuers sent by Queen Victoria herself! How is this connected to a previous tale of the Sixth Doctor-and a Fourth Doctor adventure that hasn't happened yet?
And what will happen if the Doctor is captured by the Torchwood Institute? Tony Lee and Paul Grist tell this special standalone tale!
Can't say I'm excited by the art, but... *preorders* I'm such a pushover....
Lee will also be starting in on a new *series*, the initial outing to be released in July.
In other news, I re-ordered Darksmith 4 from the Book Depository for about 2 dollars more than I would have paid, had my pre-order gone through as planned. *grumbles some more*
Also, the child made a perfect cafe mocha this morning. My work here is done! *grins*

Date: 2009-03-13 05:13 pm (UTC)The total for an AmazonUK order with three copies of the book plus airmail is 21.96 pounds. (9 for the books, 12.96 for the shipping.)
Prior to internal-to-the-States shipping, that brings it down to $10.23 per book. Add in the likely cost of a padded envelope plus Priority Mail, and there you are at about $15 again.
