Given that I'm about JH's age and my grandparents were of the fighting-in-WWII age, I'd say great-granddaughter.

Yes, but if you had a daughter (ie your grandparents' great grand-daughter), she wouldn't be JH's age right now.

It really depends on when everyone had their babies, I suppose. If you're counting a 20-ish year gap between generations, then yeah, it would be great-granddaughter. If it's closer to 40? Then it would be granddaughter. It probably doesn't really matter in the long run, though.
