Hey garpu! I finally *did* find out what IDW's 'Through Time and Space' is - it's another IDW trade paperback!



Is exclusively at Amazon-US right now for preorder, to be released on December 29th, 2009 and will compile IDW's one-shots, including The Whispering Gallery, The Time Machination and Autopia, in addition to the forthcoming Cold-Blooded Cold War, Just a Theory, and Black Death. Room With a Deja View is not included, apparently?

Only 6 issues is the normal case with TPB's. Was Room with a Deja Vu a one shot? If so? They'll release all the one shots they've done in one TP.

They like to group storylines as opposed to making all sorts of logical sense. :3

That's what I thought. Yeah, Room With a Deja View is supposed to be a one shot, TBR in July along with the first issue of DW Ongoing.

:3 Yeah they'll publish anything ongoing in separate TP's. Usually they'll come out about 2 months after every 6th issue is released? So 1-6, 6-12 etc. SOMETIMES they'll put oneshots in with the ongoing series... but only if it pertains. Frequently they'll just publish all the one shots in one book. :3

Gotta love it. XD; If there's one thing I know? It's comics (or, the industry). :D

If there isn't? Sometimes they'll chuck it at the beginning of the next volume? It depends on the company? The general format is 6 issues, usually the main title run, one shots either published later or as bonuses in the end of the TP.

There's plenty of one shots out there that they just release in issues as well.

As far as I know, they're going to be changing over to Eleven in January - would they really combine Doctors like that in a single publication if it does get held over to the next volume?

Probably not. They'll tack it on to the end of the 10th Doctor stories if that's the case. :3

Does it fit into the storyline tho? They may tack it on the beginning of the next? Maybe it's only doing like an 11 issue main story run (or 10) so they use the one shot as filler? (I've not been reading it... so I'm not sure how many issues they've got goin for it? :/)

They've got a lot of solutions to do it but the general format is 6 issues. The one shot (if it's a 12 issue series) will usually be tacked on the back of the TP's (usually the last one) or "inbetween" (i.e. beginning of the second volume). If there's enough one shots they'll do an extra TP. Sorry, this is SO much easier with visual Aides? XD; I had to explain something similar to swankkat. It'll be tacked on the end or released as a separate volume with Ten later.

No idea! As far as I know, they're planning the DW Ongoing series to have 6 issues with Ten before switching to Eleven. There were supposed to be 6 additional one-shots with Ten. So... this little thing has me confuzzled. Extra Ten is not a bad thing, though.

No worries! If they do the rest of the oneshots? I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up in that TPB.

XD;;; if not? They may just not reprint it until a later edition of the TPB (do like a "SPECIAL EDITION" or something of that ilk.

They're IDW's DW Comic series. They're doing a trade paperback of the one-shots.

Ha! Seuls is anything but fun. Chapter 13 has been particularly unlucky in more ways than one. Plus, it doesn't help that I have Bee!fic on the brain. :(
