I got the journal, too, but haven't even tried to decipher it. I'm terrible at reading people's handwriting, actually. I just had to have it :).

As for the potentially-returning-characters spoiler, I'm of many minds. Don't want a rehash of companionpalooza, which would have benefitted from not so damned much going on all the time, esp. when the regeneration is only four episodes later. If he wanted xyz for the regen, he should've saved them for the regen. But I also don't really want the Doctor to die with some random one-off companion who doesn't know him that well. I just don't want Rose to get YET ANOTHER ENDING. RTD's attempt to fix Doomsday changed things around and added some problems; I don't think messing with it more will do it any good. He had his chance -- twice. But, let's face it, Ten's tenure has been in large part about Rose, and it would be curious to have her completely absent even in mind. Really, I think RTD should have stuck to his initial plan to bring her back and introduce Handy in Ten's last episode, dammit.

RTD had already made mention that he had pretty heavily considered bringing Jessica Hynes back as Joan Redfern's great-grand-whathaveyou for TSE/JE: had Penelope Wilton not been available, JH would've been the person putting together the subwave network, because Joan would've essentially passed the whole story on through her descendants as a family legacy.

Another choice mentioned, had PW and JH not been available, included Mark Warren (Elton from LaM). And if Catherine Tate hadn't come back as Donna for Series 4? It would've been Donna at the helm.

I think some peeps may have done translations/transcriptions, but I don't recall where they would have been posted.

Cripes, if this chick really has just basically published every single thing John Smith scratched down, she could be in great whopping craploads of danger.
