DW Ongoing starts up in two months - still no word on subscriptions from IDW, but here are the RI covers from the first two issues. The art for the first two-part story arc, 'Silver Scream', will be done by British artist Al Davison, and he's based the RI covers from old-style Hollywood movie posters - cookies to who can guess the film that the second cover is based on (one of my personal favorites!).

Probably closest to 'grumpy' but '-don't touch me or I'll poke you with my prickly- mode? Eddie loves it. I think he's insane.

Hubbies are weird! I think they like it because, we're strong women. For us to be 'prickly/grumpy' it means we're vulnerable to something.

Nah, just give me a few minutes. There'll prolly be loads of mistakes and it'll be short, but you'll get the gist. Going with the original idea of the humanoid honeybees, though! *sweatdrop*

XD; I'm inclined to agree!!!! *snort* Though it may be fun to see what silly antics they resort too against my WATERBALLOON POWER OF DOOM! English people melt in water and warm weather over 100+ degrees. ;3

Heh. Good thing it RARELY gets that hot where I live, and if it does? Drive up to the mountains. It'll be about 15 - 20 degrees cooler. Plus, we have no humidity. *grins* The only thing to remember is that it thunderstorms (with possible monsoon rain) every day in the summer, usu. around 1 - 2 pmish. Then it clears up and is nice again. Rule of thumb? Get off the top of the mountain by lunchtime, and you'll be fine.

Ideas! I like ideas, ideas are good! *grins* So is getting a Better!job! Have a nice day off.

Once when I was there in the summer? I remember wearing shorts... and then my parents decided we needed to go to pikes peak *I was like 13-14?* Anyway. In shorts and a tank top, on top of a mountain... with snow. XD; BAD.

YAY! Dry heat! KS is mostly the same way? it depends on if rain is coming? But we're nothing compared to the UK, Georgia, Florida... the SOUTH for those humid days. :3

Hehehehe :3 back to arting. ;) It went okay? Word almost felt my wrath, but it's done for now... and I can re-layout the resume I LIKE accordingly. Worst case? I have the one that most places accept DONE.

Ha! I did the same clueless thing when we first moved here!

Yeah, we have little to absolutely NO humidity in the summer. It's nice, but you have to use buckets of hand lotion. :)

Ohhhhhhhhhh that would be nice. I use lotion in the winter, but generally nothing too crazy? I've been using it more recently... oddly.

The really sad thing? Is when we do take friends up there, we insist that they take a jacket and they look at us like we're insane. And don't take the jacket. Then we make sure we park in the snow, just for them. XP Trufax!

It's nice to a point - when you travel, you have to reacclimate to the humidity again. Like when you get out of the car after three hours of driving away? Sometimes it's like exiting into a shower, with the summer humidity of the plains. GASP!

And yay for more resumes leading to Better!Job!!!!

XD;;; I'll believe it! I think that's how most first timers end up freezing! :D

AH! I didn't think about that! It cracked me up, one summer when I was in the UK visiting Eddie (before we were married). It was like 90 degrees Farenheit. Not a TON of UK homes have central air conditioning (if any at all, since it's not usually needed). Eddie's family was practically melting outside, it was hotter INSIDE. I got asked "Oh! Are you alright, Roxy? It's positively scorching out here!" a lOT. I finally ended up saying "Yes, thank you, I'm completely fine... I left about 115+ temps in KS... so this is .. actually kinda cool?" I got the o.O look. Granted, it was more humid there than here... but Mmmmmmmmmm mum made "punch" with Pimms. I STILL don't think we get Pimms... but God, her punch? I drank one? maybe 2 glasses... I spent most of that summer slightly tipsy!

YES! Now to subMIT said resume to GET Better!Job XD;;;
