It seems like the kind of thing he'd get a real kick out of too. I hope he continues to have a fun time at SDCC - it seems like he's getting his geek on as much as he can right now.
I've been told that the celebs actually get a before-hours crack at the dealer's room so they can shop unmolested.
Wouldn't you love to know what he might've bought, though?
I don't know how far his scifi geekery extends beyond Who, and I would imagine he pretty much gets a free copy of anything Who he wants (within reason; I doubt Millennium is sending him free cyber-heads). He's at least something of an other-SF buff, or he wouldn't have been so into Quatermass. I don't know how much US SF he digs on, I guess I should say.
