I've seen this before with pros who go to their first con, who have always been fans but have been sort of isolated in their art:

DT is totally high on the geektasticness of SDCC, as he's never been in an environment like this before and suddenly he's all "OMG, ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US!"

That was the cutest thing in the history of ever! I particularly adored JB's pratfall, although I really hope Confidential or another vidder got RTD's and DT's reactions, because those had to have been priceless.

If he comes back to do another con Stateside I think I will have to go. I'm wondering if Gallifrey One or Chicago TARDIS will try to snag him for next year.
