DW Ongoing starts up in two months - still no word on subscriptions from IDW, but here are the RI covers from the first two issues. The art for the first two-part story arc, 'Silver Scream', will be done by British artist Al Davison, and he's based the RI covers from old-style Hollywood movie posters - cookies to who can guess the film that the second cover is based on (one of my personal favorites!).
1st issue:

(Is it bad that I'm salivating over Ten tied up? Bad me!)
2nd issue:

(Name that film! I actually own it! *laughs*)

Date: 2009-05-06 08:51 pm (UTC)It'd be a delicate situation - bordering on the non-con... Rose would have to get him out of there (along with the rest of her Torchwood team)... *grumbles*

Date: 2009-05-06 08:55 pm (UTC)Yeah, that would be a hard one.
*facepalm* There we go, reading into everything! ;)

Date: 2009-05-06 09:20 pm (UTC)*wonders about just writing the bit where she's gotten him out, but he's panicky and can't move... he wouldn't be tied up, though... which is a crying shame*
*laughs* Of course!

Date: 2009-05-06 09:27 pm (UTC)Hmmmmmm... maybe she doesn't have time to get his hands undone? That's light bondage???
Where would we be without it! XD;

Date: 2009-05-06 09:42 pm (UTC)I'm obviously thinking about this way too in-depth, but he'd only be bound while being kidnapped. After he's stung, he'd be paralyzed, so no need for bondage. But then again, tying Ten (or Ten II, in this case) up is always A Good Idea IMHO....

Date: 2009-05-06 09:49 pm (UTC)XD;;; I agree. Ten OR Ten II tied up is AWAYS GOOD. :3
*snort*
Rose: What are you doing.
Ten II: I got tied up in zepplin* ropes. A little help please?
Rose: *watching him wriggle for a moment* *evil grin*
Ten II: Rose???
*zepplin or whatever ropes he may find himself getting tangled in?

Date: 2009-05-06 09:54 pm (UTC)*laughs* OK, you win. I'll make you a deal. I'll write the little scene (leaving Ten II tied up, just 'cause) if you'll illustrate it. *EVIL GRIN* Need any background info other than the fact that they're underground?
(no subject)
Date: 2009-05-06 10:43 pm (UTC)Email me said scene? :3 I'm willing to give that a try. *needs to work on your other pic too! Is it weird I'm STILL really excited about that one but haven't started? Scratch that, it's weird. XD;

Date: 2009-05-06 10:55 pm (UTC)Hrm... that means I'd actually have to write it... *cracks knuckles* Haven't written anything in a while, but I'll give it a go. Will prolly be short.
No worries - you have work stuffs to do!
(no subject)
Date: 2009-05-06 11:10 pm (UTC)OH! Okay well, if you want, don't worry about writing it? Maybe give me like the atmosphere? A bit of set up! :3 I can draw it from that :D (or do you want me to draw what I wrote *points above*
XD; *hughug* I definitely want to do it tho! :D I've got it all planned out in my brain... now to get it out of there!
(no subject)
Date: 2009-05-06 11:17 pm (UTC)Nah, just give me a few minutes. There'll prolly be loads of mistakes and it'll be short, but you'll get the gist. Going with the original idea of the humanoid honeybees, though! *sweatdrop*
Ah, but getting a Better!Job comes first!

Date: 2009-05-08 12:31 am (UTC)YAY! Dry heat! KS is mostly the same way? it depends on if rain is coming? But we're nothing compared to the UK, Georgia, Florida... the SOUTH for those humid days. :3
Hehehehe :3 back to arting. ;) It went okay? Word almost felt my wrath, but it's done for now... and I can re-layout the resume I LIKE accordingly. Worst case? I have the one that most places accept DONE.
(no subject)
Date: 2009-05-08 10:07 am (UTC)Yeah, we have little to absolutely NO humidity in the summer. It's nice, but you have to use buckets of hand lotion. :)
And YAY - one resume done!
(no subject)
Date: 2009-05-08 01:42 pm (UTC)Ohhhhhhhhhh that would be nice. I use lotion in the winter, but generally nothing too crazy? I've been using it more recently... oddly.
YES!
The one in the program I know? THAT should get done WAY WAY WAY faster.

Date: 2009-05-08 02:21 pm (UTC)It's nice to a point - when you travel, you have to reacclimate to the humidity again. Like when you get out of the car after three hours of driving away? Sometimes it's like exiting into a shower, with the summer humidity of the plains. GASP!
And yay for more resumes leading to Better!Job!!!!

Date: 2009-05-08 02:56 pm (UTC)AH! I didn't think about that! It cracked me up, one summer when I was in the UK visiting Eddie (before we were married). It was like 90 degrees Farenheit. Not a TON of UK homes have central air conditioning (if any at all, since it's not usually needed). Eddie's family was practically melting outside, it was hotter INSIDE. I got asked "Oh! Are you alright, Roxy? It's positively scorching out here!" a lOT. I finally ended up saying "Yes, thank you, I'm completely fine... I left about 115+ temps in KS... so this is .. actually kinda cool?" I got the o.O look. Granted, it was more humid there than here... but Mmmmmmmmmm mum made "punch" with Pimms. I STILL don't think we get Pimms... but God, her punch? I drank one? maybe 2 glasses... I spent most of that summer slightly tipsy!
YES! Now to subMIT said resume to GET Better!Job XD;;;
